🏊 The Great Fjord Swim 2024 Ireland’s biggest open water swimming event gets underway on Sept 14th in Leenane, Co. Galway. A swim like no other, a true West of Ireland experience. Dive into crystal-clear Atlantic waters for the final event of the Gaelforce Great Swim Trilogy.

🎭 Dublin Fringe Festival continues into its second week as shows of all variety take over the country’s capital. Our top pick for the week is the already iconic Ham Sandwiches & Discipline which will show at The Lir Academy, Studio 1.
🍴 Eat The Streets Festival 2024 is a FREE event bringing together families, foodies and farmers to plant the seeds of a tastier tomorrow! There will be cook-alongs, workshops and no shortage of delicious foods.
💪 SwellFest 2024 is back! Guests can expect a jam-packed programme throughout the day with a huge range of sports activities to get involved in, wellness talks and demos and even an Olympic boxing special guest!
⚽️ On Tuesday, September 10th the Aviva Stadium will be host to Ireland vs Greece in the UEFA Nations League. Will the boys in green come out with a win?

If you’re looking for something wholesome and local in Dublin then check out the Clonsilla Heritage Festival 2024 on Saturday & Sunday. The event includes guided walking and boat tours of the Royal Canal.

🌶️ Taste Autumn in Ards & North Down a series of FREE and ticketed events across celebrating local food and drink with events taking place in locations across the borough. Check out all of their events and arrive HUNGRY!
😂 Jimmy Carr is bringing his new show ‘Laughs Funny’ to the Waterfront Hall, Belfast on Sept 11th & 12th. One of the biggest comedians on the scene bringing his dark humour to Belfast, this one is a must!
☀️ Ballycastle Seafront Artisan Market is an excellent showcase of local food, culture, heritage, and traditions, and it is an ideal destination for anyone looking for an authentic experience in Co. Antrim on Sunday 15th.
💍 LUX Beginners Jewellery Making Workshop combines jewellery making with a warm welcome and craic that you can expect in Co. Down. There is still availability for the Tuesday workshop.
3. Connacht
🌱 Galway Climate Inspirations Festival - A new and innovative climate festival taking place from the 12th - 15th which aims to transform the conversation around climate action by focusing on positive and creative approaches that engage the community.
🎨 The Shorelines Arts Festival is a celebration of art and sculpture from local artists and guest artists, vintage machinery display, art talks and other art events over the weekend in the town of Portumna in south-east Galway (12th - 15th).
🎶 John McNicholl 20 Years in Country Music Show takes place in Claremorris Town Hall Theatre, Co. Mayo on Friday, 13th. A brilliant night of nostalgia and music to kick off the weekend.
