❤️ Calling all singletons! The 165 year old Lisdoonvarna Matchmaking Festival 2024 started yesterday and continues for the rest of September.
🎭 Dublin Fringe Festival (7-22 September) for everything from theatre productions, electric dance performances and killer comedy to live art, drag and epic parties. There truly is something for everyone during Fringe.
⚽️ First game in charge for the new gaffer! Heimir Hallgrímsson’s Republic of Ireland men’s soccer team takes on England in the Aviva Stadium, Co. Dublin for the UEFA Nations League on Saturday 7 September.

🚶♀️Join the 12th annual Head2Head Walk on Sunday 8 September in Howth, to complete a 21km or 42km walk and help raise vital funds for Cystic Fibrosis Ireland.

👩🏫 Revolutionary Women: Representations through Soldiers & Chiefs. A FREE guided tour that explores stories of women involved in the military history of Ireland through objects and photographs on display in the Soldiers & Chiefs exhibition. Takes place on Thursday 5 September from 17:30-18:15pm.
Hidden Gem 🔍
Get absolutely doused in colours as you make your way through the course at the Youth Work Ireland Louth 5K Colour Run 2024. All in aid of Down Syndrome Ireland on Sunday 8 September 2:30-5:30pm.
2. Ulster
🍏 The Armagh Food and Cider Weekend takes place from Thursday 5 to Sunday 8 September, right in the heart of the Orchard County. Brimming with fine foods, foraged lunches, cider tasting, tours, talks and fiction.
🏃♀️ A 50km Adventure Race that will scale new heights on Gáinne Mór, Co. Donegal. On Saturday 7 September, Run, Bike and Kayak from ‘Post to Post’ taking in the most spectacular scenery around the beautiful Downings & Carrigart on the Wild Atlantic Way.
🚶♀️For something a little more sedate, try a walking festival in Co. Down. The Weebinnian Walking Festival features routes for all walking levels in the epic landscapes of the Mourne and Cooley mountains from Friday 6 to Sunday 8 September.
🛩️ The NI International Air Show 2024 will welcome spectators to the seaside towns of Portrush and Portstewart for two days of aviation attractions and family fun on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 September.
3. Connacht
🎻 Trad on the Prom in Galway City has shows running every Sunday, Tuesday & Thursday at 8:30pm. It started in August and continues for the rest of September! Feet-flying World Champion Irish dancers. The punch-packing, soul-soothing sounds of Ireland’s finest musicians, and the magic of world-class Irish voices.
🧘♀️ The Wild & Well Festival is a one-day celebration in the majestic Wild West of Ireland, fostering community and embracing holistic wellness. It takes place on Saturday 7 September in Co. Sligo.
🎻 The Féile Cheoil Larry Reynolds is a 4-day Irish Music festival running from Thursday 5 to Sunday 8 September. The festival commemorates the life of fiddle player Larry Reynolds and also promotes the East Galway Style of Music.
4. Leinster
⛳️ County Carlow Golf Classic takes place in three fine courses in Carlow, Mount Wolseley and Bunclody Golf and Fishing Club from Monday 2 to Wednesday 4 September.
🏳️🌈 Laois Pride 2024 will be running from Monday to Saturday with the main festival day and parade happening on Saturday 7 September.
🚴♀️ Rás na mBan returns to Kilkenny from 4 to 8 September and Ireland’s international bike race for women has a number of exciting new innovations for its 18th edition.
5. Munster
🥗 This one is right up our street! Waterford Harvest Festival is showcasing Waterford's Best Places to Eat, Drink, Explore & Enjoy from Friday 6 to Sunday 8 September.
🧘♀️ Take time and reinvest in you at the Elevate Fit Fest 2024 in Tipperary. A couple of days surrounded in nature with like-minded people sounds ideal! This is on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 September.
🎸 Cat Clyde is performing in Limerick on Friday 6 September (Tickets) Listen to Cat’s song ‘Mama Said’ here.
🏃♀️ Dingle Marathon is considered to be one of the most scenic running events of the calendar year! Best of luck to everyone lacing up their running shoes on Saturday 7th of September!
